Lettuce is a fabulous old Bun and I have a suspician that he might have been made by Chiltern, but as I'm not sure, he has come here to the 'Various' section! He dates to c.1930's and measures 7 x 12 inches.....about life size.

Now Lettuce has a secret .......or two. One is his lovely sounding musical bellows movement, still in great working order, but the other is that he was so loved, someone many years ago gave him a whole new covering!! This in turn is now flattened and grubby, but somehow lends him a very special air because he was clearly treasured.

So if you like your toys to be particularly characterful.....then I think Old Lettuce could be the Bunny for you!
