An extremely interesting toy which came out of an estate belonging to a judge.  I think it might have been from a Democratic Party Political Convention. He stands 16 inches tall.

Donkey is made from artificial silk plush which is discoloured and very dry, combined with striped cotton fabric in a similiar state. The wood wool filling is also very dry, but otherwise he is in good condition with no holes. He would appear to have a non working squeaker and the remains of a label in the side of his left leg.

The old boy has a great face with painted on nose and safety type eyes.

Quite an oddity!
