These three old characters have very clearly spent MANY years together and I think that most of these were in a garage or shed. I found them at a general Antiques fair and they were sitting alongside lots of other stuff that the chap had been called in to clear. I guess they all date to c.1920's.

Hare, I believe, is by Chad Valley and stands 11 inches excluding his ears. He is jointed at the arms and legs but the arm joints have seized up somewhat.

Bear would originally have stood on wheels, I can't imagine why they were removed but perhaps an eager young boy wanted to learn some 'engineering' skills! He stands 11 x 18 inches.

Elly is 10 x 12 inches and unjointed. He has a few holes but they are not leakink and he's still a strong old thing.

All three are rather grubby although they have been given a thorough brushing and all are wood wool filled with replaced painted back eyes.
