Lissom Leonard is an extraordinary Steiff lion on wheels who dates to c.1918 and stands 8 x 13 inches.

To say this old boy has been well loved is an understatement, as he was clearly adored so much that the child's mother or nanny ended up creating an outfit to protect him! Mostly bereft of hair and also very little filling he is still the most fabulous animal, in a way, more fabulous than he was created. The metal wheels are in good order, but you will not be surprised to learn that he has lost his button.

Leaonard has a great face, but there is much damage, although amazingly he's still very strong. He would however appeciate a caring and loving new home!
