Six Wonderful Soldier Bears dating to around the First World War. Three are Farnell and three are attributed to Stevens.

1. FRONT ROW LEFT SOLD

Gorgeous 3.5 inch Farnell Soldier in pale golden mohair with glass eyes. Nice condition.

2. FRONT ROW CENTRE

A grumpy little Stevens teddy, 3.5 inches, with glass eyes and very nice condition.

3. FRONT ROW RIGHT

Delightful Farnell Soldier in beigy-gold mohair, black pin eyes 3.5 inches and very nice condition.

4. MIDDLE ROW LEFT SOLD

A handsome Stevens bear who stands 5 inches. Darkened and flattened mohair, head joint no longer working and black pin eyes.

5. MIDDLE ROW RIGHT

Funny old 5 inch Stevvens teddy, rather hairy in areas and very bald in others, but quite a cutie with black pin eyes and felt nose.

6. BACK ROW SOLD

Very amusing character 3.5 inch Farnell Soldier....more like a monkey in a way. Rather worn brownish mohair, glass eyes and stitched nose.....he lost his ears in the War!
